[Young guy blows 3.5 years of his life on Gore's climate fraud] « It’s Getting Hot In Here
I was one of 7 Astronauts who stood up in today’s EPW senate hearing to deliver an unmistakable message to our senators, both allies and obstructionists: be as bold as the Apollo mission. Fully clad in space suits complete with the NASA logo, the Avaaz Action Factory stood up in the middle of the hearing and unfurled our banners.Councils 'snooping' in bins to see who is recycling properly - Telegraph

Young people were inspired by the Apollo mission, and it changed a generation. I want something that ambitious to strive for, to work for and to build my life around. I’m 25, and I’ve been working on climate change solutions/policy for 3 1/2 years since I realized this wasn’t a time to count on ’somebody else’. I’m young, but I’m not getting younger, and 2020 is looking closer and closer. I’m getting worried about what’s going to happen if we don’t have serious cuts in emissions by then.
Almost 100 councils have admitted secretly taking residents' rubbish and examining it to see how much they are recyling.Activists reveal plan to storm Copenhagen climate summit | Environment | guardian.co.uk
The anti-globalisation group Climate Justice Action has said it hopes to mobilise up to 15,000 protesters to storm the climate summit, and a large carbon dioxide emitter nearby, while negotiators try to thrash out a replacement for the Kyoto protocol.Climate ‘Science’ Caught Lying « the Air Vent
"We want to take over the summit space to set the global agenda away from false, market-based solutions, towards an agenda of social justice," said Tadzio Müller, a 32-year-old German activist who is part of the group organising the protest. "Real emission cuts will not be achieved by initiatives like carbon trading...It is (the pursuit of) economic growth that is driving us into climate chaos." [Via Heliogenic Climate Change]
These guys are serious! Somehow they’ve managed to subtract the effects of huge fishing pressure and determine the nearly non-measurable Global Warming was the cause.

"...anti-globalisation group..." How exactly is trying to globally control the global climate and global temperatures, both of which cross all political borders on the globe, "anti-globalising"?
As that 'young-guy', I take extreme offense to your claim that I'm wasting my life on this. Your animosity seems misplaced and uninformed.
When 9 out of 10 doctors tell you about a serious health condition in your child, do you look really hard for that 10th doctor who will tell you he's fine, its just a cough and take your chances?
If you'd like to learn more, www.desmogblog.com has an excellent series of posts explaining global warming.

(talking for the people, naturally - how about turning it down a notch on the hubris there Musolini)
=Stopping all coal, oil, natural gas extraction... NOW!
=Socializing all electric companies
=Localizing all food production
=Recognizing and repaying all ecological and climate debt
=Respecting indigenous people's rights
=Regenerating our eco-systems
About the only thing you get right is that we people all live in our own little feifdoms. Not a surprise that's the only part of your movement you take exception with.
Mog-Maar of course you take "extreme" offense. Young guys always over react...
It would make more sense to take slight offense, because you have only slighty wasted a couple years of your life.
You follow Desmog? So tell me, what happened to Richard Littlemore? Haven't seen him around there for a while.
Kind of strange when a blogger gets fired from his own blog.
I mean if that's what happened.
