C3: U.S. Records Reveal Drought Conditions in 1920's and 30's Worse Than Most Recent Decades, Contrary To Politician Claims
Source here. National Data Climate Center records indicate drought and drought-like conditions more common in earlier 20th century. Recent politician statements claim that all droughts in recent years are the worst U.S. has experienced and a direct result of human CO2. As can be seen, during 20's and 30's there were 10 years that at least one U.S. state was suffering from record drought conditions. In a similar time span surrounding the hot 1998 year, there were only 4 years that at least one U.S. state was having a record drought situation.
