Now I must close. It seems the poor, old coal-fired plant up the road, which has kept the lights steady on all these years, suddenly has morphed into a "factory of death." I cannot speak for others, but I, for one, will be happy to see global climate change join geocentric cosmology and Lysenkoism on Leon Trotsky's "garbage heap of history."

I once expressed my doubts about this topic in another venue and received a letter (unsigned with no return address) from an individual who was rather hostile in his/her expression and challenged me to fill in a blank with just one credible scientist who discredits the global warming theory. Well, for that individual and any others of like mind, here is your chance to see that blank filled.

...our obnoxious politicians present us with no such choice. They all sing the same song, in the same monotonous drone. No political party has the bravery to challenge the claims and demands of the environmental movement. Instead of debating environmental and climate policies, our politicians attempt to demonstrate that they are each greener than the other. The consequence is that policies with far-reaching effects go without scrutiny.
