Mistake by the Lake

This weekend, the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball circuit made its way through Chicago. For those of you not living in the Second City, Chicago is having the coldest summer in recent memory. Up until this weekend, woman’s beach volleyball was my favorite female sport. It all changed when the ladies played in 60 degree weather. The players opted for t-shirts and pants, as opposed to bikinis. Needless to say, this ruined my viewing experience.

Others have foolishly and prematurely committed to imprudent “green” investments whose value will evaporate unless the Emissions Trading legislation gets up. These big vested interests are opposed to the interests of ordinary Australian workers, shareholders, taxpayers and consumers. They are pushing our weakest politicians to pass this bill before too many Australians wake up to what is in store for them.

The fear-mongers, who would have you believe that man induced, catastrophic, climate change and rising sea levels are endangering the planet, are just plain wrong.

It is poor science, at best, and certainly not a reason to add billions of dollars in costs to American products and home utility bills.
