NASA Expands High-End Computing System for Climate [Scam]
Discover will be hosting climate simulations for the IPCC's Fifth Assessment Report by the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York City and Goddard's Global Modeling and Assimilation Office (GMAO). Stimulus funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 will enable installation of another 4,128 Nehalem processors this fall, bringing Discover to 15,160 processors.
Republicans Now Ahead By Five on Generic Ballot - Rasmussen Reports™
Republican candidates have now matched their biggest lead over Democrats of the past several years on the Generic Congressional Ballot.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 43% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 38% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent.

Public support for the health care reform plan proposed by the president and congressional Democrats has fallen to a new low. Just 42% of voters now favor the plan.

Perry Bacon Jr.: I think the health care debate will take up much of the year, and some of the same conservative Dems in the Senate who are weary of the health care bill are also wary of climate change, hence I don't see the latter happening this year. I think there will be a big push to get something passed on health care; the question will be what's in it. Lots of talk about "scaling back" lately that will annoy more liberal Democrats.
