"It's really distressing news," said Jennifer Haverkamp, who follows international climate negotiations for the Environmental Defence Fund. "What this does is it gives a lot of other countries the excuse they may have been looking for to hide behind the US inaction."Priority legislation - Las Vegas Sun
Boxer must ensure that the energy bill does not get lost in the debate over health care. And she must round up 60 votes. Vienna - The goal for the climate conference in Copenhagen is to reach a deal that can actually be implemented, rather than agreeing on binding high targets for reducing carbon dioxide emissions, US Energy Secretary Steven Chu said Tuesday in Vienna. The United Nations' International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is calling for countries to make firm commitments to reduce emissions that cause global warming by 25 to 40 per cent below 1990 levels.Emissions Trading Scheme a raw deal for our farmers

Do we as kiwis want to be a part of this despicable scam or will we stand up to the bullies and perpetrators of it?
Science is now proving the lie is false and that many things shown to support global warming actually have other natural explanations. The most telling aspect I see is that the only way politicians want to combat so-called global warming is by making people pay, through taxes and buying credits, not actively encouraging the introduction of new sources of energy to keep our planet functioning.
