The purpose of the campaign is to show how the world’s poorest people are the ones most directly affected by climate change.

The concept for the ad and website show a person being eroded and damaged by climate change, but then being restored by positive action. The ad features some really beautiful 3D animation, and the voiceover was done by Jeremy Irons.

For some strange reason the 90s was a time when Disney got really dark. In contrast to some other movies in the 90s (coughcoughBatman & Robincoughcough) that were really campy, Disney studios decided to get dark. The Lion King is a prime example. To kick off this Disney era is Scar who became one of the most evil Disney villains (well aside from Frollo but that's a given).
