UPDATED: Gale warning in effect for Lake Superior | Duluth News Tribune
The wind advisory is in effect until 7 p.m. sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph are expected across areas near western Lake Superior through the early evening. Winds will begin to diminish slowly late this evening but will remain gusty.

The winds will bring much cooler air into the region, which will likely result in freezing temperatures across much of the Northland late Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
