[Why should these students have any particular influence on policymakers?]: U of G duo taking youth voice to climate [fraud] conference
GUELPH—Two University of Guelph students will give Canadian youth a voice at this year’s United Nations Climate Change Conference.

Yvonne Su, an international development student, and Joanna MacDonald, an environmental science student, both in the third year of university, will be part of the Canadian Youth Delegation making the trip to Copenhagen, Denmark in December.

“You can’t talk about a policy that will be around in 20 years without talking to the people who are going to be around [but isn't it likely that lots of today's adults still be alive in 20 years?],” Su said.
...
But even if the delegates can’t sway policy makers, their attendance is still fruitful, said Jennifer McDowell, the delegation’s youth policy co-ordinator in the past two years and an adviser this year.
Are any climate realists (such as Kristen Byrnes) allowed as part of any of these youth delegations?
