Energy companies have privately warned the Government that its climate change targets are "illusory" and "delusional" as global leaders prepare to sign up to stricter guidelines at the Copenhagen climate change conference in six weeks.

So skeptics keep confronting the published science, often finding gaps in the findings--that's how science is supposed to work. But the hysterics at this point can only resort to sad ad hominem attacks--stuff more suitable to celebrity weeklies than it is to a scientific discussion.
