This subversion of our democracy is disgusting. The fact that members of the House of Representatives went to the floor to vote on the climate bill with false information is unacceptable.

As the Senate begins work on this issue, members should view communications from lobbying groups opposing climate and green jobs legislation with increased skepticism.

I’m wondering what role media have played in these trends. Science and environmental reporters have been laid off in droves at American news organizations. As far as I know, there is not a single full-time reporter or producer dedicated to these topics in all of American broadcast and cable news. At the same time, I don’t think we can deny the influence of hyper-partisan talkers like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glen Beck, and the polarization of view that they help strengthen.

As former Sen. Dirkson said, “Waste a million here and a million there, and pretty soon you are talking real money.” We are talking real money. Our government is subsidizing research to the tune of billions of dollars a year to stop a non-existent threat.

One cannot help but ask, when will the media tell the general public that the fat lady has sung, and that it is over?

I’ve demonstrated that the redistribution policies of this treaty have very little to do with curbing any greenhouse gases so much as rewarding poorer nations for the virtue of poverty. It does not reward innovation but punishes success. I think our lone public voice of criticism is underestimating the willingness of capitulation of President Obama to sign such a treaty. We just want to spread the wealth around…right? To paraphrase Lord Monckton: He’s a communist; of course he’ll sign it.

Yet another Indoctrination Alert, and the fall from grace of another once great British institution. Only last month it was the Natural History Museum, unveiling a hysterical "Climate Change Wall" (see here), and now it is the Science Museum which has joined the alarmist bandwagon, and will be indoctrinating the thousands of school age children that pass through its doors each month
