[India: Rains vary; your fault]
The rainfall data over one and a half months between 2005 and 2009 for the seven districts yielded 231 observations. Of these, only 23 were in the ‘normal’ range. While data over a short period is likely to show sharper variations, it does raise concerns about climate change.
Politicians stump Colorado for climate change [fraud] - The Denver Post
"A lot of the human suffering in the world today is being precipitated by climate changes," which have led to droughts and shortages causing "political destabilization that, in some instances, brings down governments," said former U.S. Sen. John Warner, R-Va. He addressed Air Force Academy cadets Tuesday, and was to join former U.S. Sen. Gary Hart and others in Denver today.

we could produce all the oil we need domestically, but the enviros aren't letting us, so who exactly is to blame for foreign oil imports? many times it seems our politicians are the greatest "hawks" when it comes to fighting wars in the middle east but the greatest *cowards* when it comes to standing up against environmentalists. And they're not very helpful: Iraq's oil production has fallen dramatically from where it was before Iraq was invaded, in fact OPEC accused Saddam of "overpumping" and driving the price down.
