Video: CO2 not to blame but sun may cause cooling
The extreme of a new ice age may be far fetched, but it does clearly indicate that there is a lot more involved in dictating our planet's weather. An open debate has not been entertained, but I think it's about time that it is. The science is not settled, and while I like many others want to protect our environment, we may be throwing money away at the wrong cause.
Global Warming Could Create a Legion of 'Climate Terrorists' : TreeHugger
Scientists predict that climate change will exacerbate many of the world's continuing troubles--food shortages, poverty, lack of water, spread of infectious diseases, and so on. And many have already suggested that strained resources and migration caused by global warming could eventually lead to wars; maybe even a world war. But few have considered this national security concern: climate change could usher in a brand new generation of terrorists.

The Rise of Climate Terrorism
Austin notes that there are already parts of the world where people live with temperatures as high as 48 Degrees Celsius (118 Fahrenheit!), such as the Sudan. If climate change causes the temperature to rise even a fraction of a degree, it could make such regions uninhabitable--forcing large groups of people to abandon their homes.
Africa Requires $70 Billion to Tackle Climate Change - NGO (Page 1 of 1)
For Africa to effectively tackle the growing challenges of climate change currently holding every part of the world to ransom, the continent is in dire need of not less than $70 billion annually to mitigate the impact of the scourge.
Warming Up Over Global Warming - Coop's Corner - CBS News
If the debate over TARP, the stimulus package and now, health care reform, highlighted the ideological polarization between Democrats and Republicans, wait a bit. All that was a warm up act for the battle royal now brewing in the United States Senate over global warming.
Climate Mash Video: Global warming zombies for Halloween
This video was first released in 2005, and you will see a direct attack against that presidential administration. I don't necessarily agree, but perhaps this is symbolic of the environment we are in today. The debate has boiled down to a cute song and rejects from a Michael Jackson video (Thriller). Enjoy!
[So can we trust Nancy Pelosi to keep the lights on while the Obama administration replaces our current energy sources for a completely bogus reason?]
The government has failed dramatically in its effort to make the swine flu vaccine widely available. We're quickly approaching the time by which this was supposed to have been accomplished, but the government is nowhere close to having accomplished it. In July the Obama administration said that 80 to 120 million doses could be ready by mid-October. But now, in late October, only about 16.5 millions doses have become available.
Amusing: North Carolina sea levels rose at the "wrong" time
They try to glide over it below but Greenies normally identify the postwar years (1945+) as the time of a big rise in CO2. But the big jump in sea level reported below was at a time (1879 to 1915) when the industrial era was in its infancy! Correlation does not prove causation but lack of correlation certainly DISPROVES causation
The Migrant Mind: Wishing for Energy- It won't work
Solving problems by wishful thinking, as is done in this article is not going to actually work but it feels so good saving the planet and even gets you an article in Scientific American.
Treaty To Limit Carbon Dioxide Should Be Followed By Similar Limits On Other Greenhouse Pollutants [like water vapor?]
When world leaders meet in Copenhagen in December to hash out a treaty limiting carbon dioxide emissions, they should begin planning a future summit to address other pollutants -- from soot to ozone -- that don't remain in the atmosphere as long as carbon dioxide, but nevertheless are major contributors to global warming.
