Asking one simple question by Norm Kalmanovitch | Climate Realists
All that needs to be done in the spirit of “science protocol’ is to ask this one simple question:

“How much of the thermal radiation energy from the Earth in the band centred on the 14.77micron wavelength that is resonant with the vibrational mode of CO2 has already been affected by the current atmospheric CO2 concentration, and how much energy remains to be affected?”

and have it answered by honest knowledgeable scientists.

The entire case for anthropogenic global warming and the Kyoto Protocol will completely disintegrate.
Barton, Walden Ask DOE Secretary Chu to Explain Plans to Shut Down Yucca
WASHINGTON – U.S. Reps. Joe Barton, R-Texas, and Greg Walden, R-Ore., today asked Department of Energy Secretary Steven Chu to answer questions about an internal department memo that indicates DOE is planning to halt all Yucca Mountain licensing activities in December 2009.
Friedman embraces “E.T.” as solution to energy problems | GlobalWarming.org
His solution then is to tax conventional energy and subsidize alternative energy sources. Right. That’s clearly an innovative solution that nobody has thought of. And how would this affect the population bomb he fears? Undoubtedly, raising the price of fossil fuels could indeed have an effect on developing countries’ populations. While waiting for those alternative energy sources to develop, they’ll continue to face poverty and resultant devastating diseases. Not surprisingly, Friedman doesn’t address that problem.
Hot Air » Blog Archive » Reid: No cap-and-trade debate until spring
If the Senate doesn’t get to cap-and-trade in 2010, the 112th Congress will have to start over from scratch in 2011. The chances of jamming another Waxman-Markey through either chamber will be much smaller, especially since it looks like the Democrats have a good chance of losing control of the House. Reid may as well have just struck the bill from the calendar altogether.
