The Associated Press: UN: Fight climate change with free condoms
On Wednesday, one analyst criticized the U.N. Population Fund's pronouncements as alarmist and unhelpful.

"It requires a major leap of imagination to believe that free condoms will cool down the climate," said Caroline Boin, a policy analyst at International Policy Network, a London-based think tank.

A study out yesterday found that carbon dioxide levels rose by almost a third in the last seven years.
Climate change 'is too far off to worry politicians'
Steve Connor, science editor at the Independent, expressed his opinion that people are not prepared to respond to the threat of global warming because it will be decades until the effects are felt.
Wait a minute here: Hundreds of years after the dawn of the Industrial Revolution, we still have to wait for more decades to pass until we'll feel the effects of global warming?
