I am normally a fan of David Aaronovitch, but his piece in today’s The Times attacking Lord Lawson, Dr. Benny Peiser, and the new Global Warming Policy Foundation is dreadful, more like a child having a temper tantrum in the Day Nursery than a comment from a mature journalist. Sadly, however, I am not much surprised by this, nor indeed by similar outbursts. On the subject of ‘global warming’, the North London metropolitan liberal elite have had it far too easy for far too long in the mainstream media (MSM), and I guess that the Foundation has come as a bit of a shock to their self-reinforcing complacency. Basically, they don’t like it up their favourite dinner-table religion - time, perhaps, to make it a bit ‘Grim Up North London’, I deem.
