SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based.Climategate and the conservative herd mentality
It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a long-term rise in temperature over the past 150 years.
The UEA’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) was forced to reveal the loss following requests for the data under Freedom of Information legislation.

UPDATE: From comments I see that “Bing”, the new search engine from Microsoft, has no such problems, and in fact puts “climategate” right at the top after only 3 letters “c l i”:

It is interesting that despite the enormous difference in the total mass of the atmospheres of both planets it turns out that Mars' atmosphere has about 10 times more CO2 than Earth's atmosphere. I left a comment about this in the comment section of the idiotic article.
