9 per cent were prepared to make significant changes to their travel habits, such as getting rid of their car altogether or cutting out air travel completely;
[But since Al Gore declared the debate already "over" back in 1992, why are these people just "prepared" to make sacrifices?  Why aren't they actually making the sacrifices?]
"Only an insignificant fraction of scientists deny the global warming crisis. The time for debate is over. The science is settled."

So said Al Gore ... in 1992. Amazingly, he made his claims despite much evidence of their falsity.

These folks have got their entire careers invested in environmental alarmism and man-made global warming, and they aren’t going to give up without a fight.
