Climate finance hits snag before key UN summit
British charity Oxfam's senior policy adviser Max Lawson said: “The G20 has once again failed to live up to its rhetoric on climate change.

Even so, what the government purports to do isn’t collective will; it’s the decision of few that affective the lives of many and the decisions are being made with taxpayer money. “2012 taps into the paranoia around the world. Everybody sort of knows where the problems are, but they might be exaggerated in this case. I don’t think it will all end suddenly, even though we’re seeing the literal manifestations around the world with global warming. It may all be over eventually, but I think it’s going to take a while for us to destroy ourselves completely.”
