Dead Babies - Conscripts in the Climate War — Climate Resistance: Challenging Climate Orthodoxy
It seems to us that there are 65 times the number of deaths attributable to the effects of poverty as there are deaths attributable to climate change. In terms of the years of life lost due to climate change (from the same WHO report), the effects of poverty claim 84 times as many.

So how can Save the Children make the claim that ‘Climate change is the biggest global health threat’?
More ‘Work’ for the President by Patrick J. Michaels on National Review Online
Last month, President Obama gave a somewhat chilling, if somewhat ignored, speech on climate change at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He stated that any scientific debate about the magnitude of global warming is unscrupulous, decrying “those who . . . make cynical claims that contradict the overwhelming scientific evidence when it comes to climate change, whose only purpose is to defeat or delay the change that we know is necessary.”

Then, the president talked tough, saying, “We’ll just have to deal with those people,” language familiar to anyone who knows the vagaries of Chicago politics.
Climate shift: Senate likely to warm to Inhofe’s view
With unemployment topping 10 percent last week and the economic recovery looking soft, a cap-and-trade system that a number of experts say would result in taxes on nearly every aspect of life in the United States — without much actual effect on climate — will get a chilly reception from Senate moderates.

Which is why Inhofe has been telling anyone who would listen that cap and trade is a goner. Credit him for standing up to scientists and celebrities who insist all doubt about man-made warming has been answered.

No one in the Senate knows the issue better, and if/when the entire body debates it, evidence is strong the climate will favor Inhofe.

Clive Francis: Global Warming - A Convenient Untruth
I fear that "climate change" has simply become a Convenient Untruth; now being peddled to conceal a hopelessly delayed and utterly inept energy policy for Britain.
World youth will have to lead the way to climate change | Students on Ice Blog
And in Copenhagen, just before the politicians convene on Dec. 6, a UNICEF Children’s Climate Forum will be held.

At the forum, youth aged 14 to 17, from 42 countries, will discuss climate change with world leaders.
