Diagnosis: The CRU crew is suffering from ASS (Anti-Science Syndrome) | GORE LIED
Yes, the health and well-being, i.e. individual liberties, of humanity definitely would have been endangered had the CRU crew (coined a new term?) had been successful in defrauding the public with their junk science, and bringing on their Progressive Utopian reorganization of society via the lie that the earth’s thermostat needed to be turned down a fraction of a degree.
Video: Chris Horner destroys eco-entrepreneur Howard Gould in a debate over the CRU hack/leak | GORE LIED
You can almost feel Gould’s eco-investment portfolio shrinking as Horner keeps landing blows.
Andrew Revkin Spins ‘ClimateGate’ Story
Add it all together, and it's clear that Revkin has no desire to objectively report the news about the e-mails. His agenda is to limit the damage, and the Times is giving him multiple forums to do it.

"I'm thinking 'hide the decline' could be a slogan for a lot of folks right about now," blogger Glenn Reynolds wrote at Instapundit. Revkin and the Times certainly are in decline. They're just not very good at hiding it yet.
Turn the heat on high priests of global warming - David Archibald - The Courier-Mail
The whole global warming debate has serious consequences but not in the way imagined by the warmers.

To quote Winston Churchill: "The whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age, made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science."

I do believe that Churchill was very prescient, and the perverted science he was referring to is global warming alarmism.
