FOIA for Me But Not For Thee | Climate Skeptic
I thought this was one of the more interesting quotes unearthed so far from the Hadley CRU emails:
“When the FOI requests began here, the FOI person said we had to abide by the requests. It took a couple of half hour sessions – one at a screen, to convince them otherwise showing them what CA [Climate Audit] was all about. Once they became aware of the types of people we were dealing with, everyone at UEA (in the registry and in the Environmental Sciences school – the head of school and a few others) became very supportive. I’ve got to know the FOI person quite well and the Chief Librarian – who deals with appeals.”
CLIMATE SCIENCE CORRUPTED by John McLean | Climate Realists
For the first time that I can recall, I am forced to conclude that Houghton is a scientist driven more by belief and religious conviction than by evidence. How can it be otherwise when he is so adamant that human activity has a significant influence on climate and yet the scientific evidence to support that claim is appallingly weak? Correlations are not evidence of a cause, nor are the output from inaccurate climate models or the opinions of people who work with those models, but all the so-called evidence that the IPCC report of 2007 presented.
Data breach at climate research center in U.K - Juliet Eilperin - washingtonpost.com
Michael E. Mann, who directs the Earth System Science Center at the Pennsylvania State University, said in a telephone interview from Paris that skeptics are "taking these words totally out of context to make something trivial appear nefarious."

Possible Conspiracy To Falsify Temperature Data Uncovered | NewsBusters.org
Should we expect investigative television programs like "60 Minutes" and "20/20" to be all over this story interrogating the scientists allegedly involved in these e-mail exchanges?

Will America's press be as eager to find out the truth of this matter as they were in fact-checking former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's new book?

One of the most interesting and telling exchanges is between 2 IPPC idols; Tom Wigley and Kevin Trenberth, in which the basic physics come into question...

"... what you said was ”we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment”. Now you say “we are nowhere close to knowing where energy is going”. In my eyes these are two different things—the second relates to our level of understanding, and I agree that this is still lacking..."

For me this exchange torpedoes the whole AGW scam. I can't see the green left and their cohorts in the scientific community getting over this.

Stephen Schnieder will be cross. Didn't he warn everyone in the field to suppress "any doubts we may have" ?
