Huckabee Warns Democrats

HUCKABEE: I think the big story was the break of independents two-to-one against the incumbent, against the Democrat. And if that doesn't send a message to the Democrats in Congress who are now looking to push cap and trade and the health care bill -- if they're not seeing that, a lot of them need to take a good look around this December and see the Capitol Christmas lights, because it's going to be the last Christmas they spend as a congressman in Washington D.C.

It’s hard to imagine that the 84 House Democrats from districts won by either John McCain in 2008 or President Bush in 2004 are now more inclined to support either an expensive health plan or a cap-and-trade energy plan. Already Democrats are hinting at shrinking the former and putting the latter on the backburner.
