If you start seeing more icebergs closer to the equator, is that a sign of global warming?

Over 100 floating icebergs spotted: Global warming a factor
Wellington, New Zealand – A maritime warning was issued today after at least 100 icebergs were spotted floating towards New Zealand.

Orion captain Andy Nielsen told The Associated Press, the largest iceberg is reported to be about 1.2 by 0.9 miles and more than 425 feet high and are floating in a major ocean shipping lane.

Nielsen said it is not unusual to see icebergs in the southern ocean, however he is surprised by the number of them and by how far north they are.
