Science peer pressure
The editor of Science journal has admitted that submissions that go against the trend (specifically mentioning the issues of evolution and anthropogenic global warming) have a hard time getting past peer review
Reducing Humans to Carbon Ash
The latest morally monstrous proposal out of the environmentalist cult comes from Lord Smith of Finsbury. He suggests that each British citizen be given a government “carbon allowance.”
...
The appallingly anti-human nature of this proposal is only surpassed by the appalling ignorance and intellectual laziness of a public that is not appalled by the fact that their politicians are literally leading them to suicide.
Gore: He seems to spend more and more time these days talking about climate realists
# "Balkanization of the electronic media": Conservative television and radio -- he mentioned "one television network," obviously Fox News -- has created what Gore called "an echo chamber that some ideologically inclined people spend almost all their time absorbing."
"The role of reason is diminished inside that echo chamber," he added.
#"Outright denial": If confronted with something unpleasant, such as drowning Pacific islands or millions of acres of dead forests, the inclination of some, in Gore's view, is to claim that "it is not real."
Gore compared global warming deniers to "birthers," those who persist in denying that President Obama was born in the United States, saying: "They are impervious to any intrusions of fact.""
#Wealthy special interests": Big oil and big coal have fielded front groups, found academics available for purchase, and bussed employees to mass meetings opposing a House-passed climate bill. They are the biggest players in about 16 or 17 percent of the economy, Gore said, and fear the end to their dominance.
# Republican musketeers: Gore joked that a Three-Musketeers mentality has developed in the political opposition.
"The collection of interest groups in the modern Republican coalition tend to support one another," he said. "Otherwise sensible people" are making their beds in the denier camp.Such GOP politicians as Sen. Lindsay Graham, R-S.C., and Reps. Dave Reichert, R-Wash., and Mark Kirk, R-Ill., have found themselves condemned by party activists: The "sin" is voting for or trying to negotiate climate legislation.
Gore seems desperate to blame the gun and religion-clinging Fox News viewers for his woes, but how big is Fox News in all of the other countries where his scam is failing dramatically?
