[Useful idiot Jimmy Carter weighs in]: The Elders Become Climate [Scam] Allies
The Elders, a group of eminent global leaders brought together by Nelson Mandela, have become Climate Allies by uploading their 'Tcks' to the Time for Climate Justice campaign website.

Nov 19, 2009 – Former US President, Jimmy Carter said:

"Averting climate change is possible, and is much cheaper than living with the consequences. But no meaningful agreement can be reached without the United States. I urge all Americans to think carefully about the fact that our own young people face a harsh and perilous future if nothing is done to stop climate change."

If NASA is so concerned about hysterical claims of Armageddon scaring children, it should worry less about science-fiction movies and more about cleaning up its own house.

As for 2012, that's when the Kyoto accord expires. Not the Earth.
[If we blow another $124 billion on electric vehicles, will the weather improve?]
Perhaps it's merely a sign of the times, when a billion is the new million and firms in many industries have found it easier to get capital from the government than from bankers, bondholders and shareholders, but the price tag implicit in the recommendations of a new cross-industry group formed to promote electric vehicles is startling even in this context. Although I couldn't find the total anywhere in the lengthy report from the Electrification Coalition, the Washington Post tallied the combined cost of their proposals at $124 billion in new government incentives, over and above the billions already being spent under the stimulus bill and other programs to support the R&D, manufacturing, and infrastructure for plug-in electric cars, and to subsidize consumer purchases of them.
Global Warming or Global Cooling? What is Coming? | Political News | Annuit Coeptis
There is nothing humans can do to arrest this cycle. Yet liberal environmentalists are determined to try, at the expense of civilization itself, if need be. But their efforts will have no impact on the grand cycle. That’s why the effort makes about as much sense as a flea biting an elephant and pretending to be a great influence on the course of the elephant’s daily stroll and overall life course.
