No, there's just no meat to this policy, if you can call it that. It's a long list of platitudes and well-meant pledges, much like past Liberals displayed with their advocacy of Kyoto, an accord they praised and approved but were careful not to implement. What Mr. Ignatieff is promising is that, if he ever becomes Prime Minister, he will be much more open to joining other leaders in loudly pledging support to high ideals and optimistic aspirations. Like he did today.
