But, you know what would be really great? If Cooper and cBS became serious, and pushed Gore to debate a person who has been dealing with the man induced warming issue for quite some time, perhaps Lord Monkton or Dennis Avery, both of whom, among others, have repeatedly challenged Gore to debate, yet, time and time again, Gore has ducked them.

Tell me, climate alarmists, if the science is so settled, why won’t Gore debate? Why will virtually none of the leaders of the AGW debate?

But warming is politically dead. It would require a brave politician to inconvenience voters, steal their money, and ruin their jobs based on premises that may be fraudulent. That "may" is the crucial term -- fraud doesn't have to be proven. Doubt is all that's required. When fraud enters the picture, everything else -- certainty, veracity, trust -- gets up and leaves. Fakery distorts everything that it touches. To claim that, even though the last batch of data was tainted, the next batch just might be okay, is the same as saying that the last e-mail offer you got from the Nigerian President's Office may have cleaned out your bank account, but this one you just opened has got to be for real.

"Climategate" is first time that the magnitude of bad behavior by climate alarmist scientists was so large and so easily understood by non-scientists that even the liberal mass media can't completely ignore it (though they're doing their best.)

But the release of e-mail and data from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia in Britain showing global warming alarmist "scientists" manipulating and deleting data is far from the first time these same people have been found to be acting in distinctly non-scientific ways.
