Climate change politics all about bluster and inaction - The Sudbury Star - Ontario, CA
What we learned from Copenhagen is that these negotiations will not have anything to do with "fixing" the climate, even assuming it needs fixing and that we could do it if we wanted to.

Rather, they will be about laying blame on someone else for failing to act.

Laying blame is vital to politicians when confronting (a) a "problem" they don't really think is a problem, but their voters do (b) a problem they know they can't fix or (c) a problem whose solution, even assuming it works, would require sacrifices from people that people are unwilling to make.

Here is a list of the Top 10 Canadian weather stories of the decade as ranked by David Phillips, Environment Canada's senior climatologist.

The real climate change apocalypse is coming» Evansville Courier & Press
After reading Sam Blankenship's response to global warming threats on Dec. 16, I could not believe what I was reading.

These scientists he writes about are only called unprofessional and deceptive when they don't agree with his global warming hoax. Now it is to be called global climate change, since there is proof the earth is now cooling and the Antarctic ice is up over 43 percent since 1980. Now global cooling and global warming combined may cause an even greater risk of greenhouse gases? What a crock.

The American Spectator : Wish List for 2010
"Yes we can" becomes an ironic buzzword of the right as crowds chant "yes, we can" beat Obamacare, yes we can stop cap-and-trade, yes we can stop "card check" legislation, yes we can stop the climate-change cultists, yes we can protect private property and the Second Amendment, and yes we can most certainly keep the energy of the TEA Party movement and the town hall meetings just as strong as, or even stronger than, it was in 2009.
