Copenhagen climate change summit - final day live blog | Environment | guardian.co.uk
12.58am: Hard to sum up the mood better than Lumumba Di-Aping, chief negotiator for the G77 group of 130 developing countries:
"This deal will definitely result in massive devastation in Africa and small island states. It has the lowest level of ambition you can imagine. It's nothing short of climate change scepticism in action.
"It locks countries into a cycle of poverty for ever. Obama has eliminated any difference between him and Bush."

Actually, no, Bush's inflated fear (nuclear armed iraq) was actually acted upon, to the discovery of no nukes. OTOH, Obamas inflated fear (global catatrophe from some "tipping point" of CO2), has not been acted on, and is a more far-reaching scandal than Bush's ever was.
So, don't fear, Obama is still distinguishing himself as better than Bush... I mean, he's trying to lie to all the people all the time, whereas Bush just tried all of the people some of the time.
