It is amazing that a scandal that has appeared on something like 14 million web pages (per Google, though ymmv as I see people getting all kinds of numbers) in a matter of just 2 weeks has yet to appear on the US mainstream network news. I mean, these were the guys who spent breathless hours of live coverage reporting every breaking rumor about changes to Michael Jackson’s coffin.

And, last but not least, Minnesotans for Global Warming has a music video of a song titled “ Hide the Decline,” while The Washington Examiner compiled something of a rogue’s gallery of those implicated in “Climategate,” including yours truly:

Needless to say, if no deal results from a personal appearance by Holy Barry, Father of God, the great hope of the “international community,” it’ll be an even bigger blow to his prestige than the Olympics debacle. As for the terms of the prospective deal, sounds like we’re going to fight this war with half-measures too.

I might have missed a question, but I think that’s it. Three of the eight reporters didn’t even mention the leaked e-mails. Two of the remaining five didn’t confront the group with the content of the e-mails, but merely asked them to comment on the ensuing furor. Only three of eight actually asked about the substance of the controversy. Delingpole is right: The MSM, by and large, just don’t care about this scandal, even though their readers and viewers plainly do.

Is global warming from CO2 real? – Hell yes!

Is it measurably warmer due to CO2 — not sure.

Are claims of ice melt, fish shrinking, model projections, temperature measurements, paleo science, drought, increased storms and FLOODING!! exaggerated? – Yup!

Is it being done with intent. OH HELL YES.
