It's too chilly for penguins - Bridlington Free Press
YOU would think that penguins would relish the current arctic weather, but it seems that the brood at Sewerby Hall and Gardens prefer summer by the seaside.
The group of around a dozen Humboldt penguins at the hall’s zoo are suffering through the cold, and have decided that their pond is far too chilly to risk taking a dip in.

Global Warming in the Days of Old - WSJ.com
Twenty-thousand years ago, ice was one to two miles thick over New England, New York and the Upper Midwest, part of the Laurentide Ice Sheet. About 15,000 years ago, the earth started to warm and the glacier stopped advancing. A thousand or so years later there was a sudden (by geological standards) increase in the Earth's temperature and over the period of another thousand-plus years the glacier disappeared. There was so much water released by the melting ice cap that the Atlantic Ocean rose some 400 feet, more than three inches a year.

About a thousand years ago, it was warm enough that the Vikings established settlements in Greenland and did farming. The Little Ice Age started around 1200 A.D. and among the victims were those same settlements—they disappeared. Yes, Mother Nature has her ways, and we should be expanding our horizons to include what's happening in our solar system.
"Science"Daily on climate swindle justice: Disproportionate effects of global warming and pollution on disadvantaged communities
ScienceDaily (Dec. 24, 2009) — Global warming, pollution, and the environmental consequences of energy production impose a greater burden on low-income, disadvantaged communities, and strategies to prevent these inequities are urgently needed. A provocative collection of articles on climate justice presents the global implications of climate change and its effects on human health and the environment in a special issue of Environmental Justice, a peer-reviewed journal published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.
timestranscript.com - Heat and hot air Denmark | Alec Bruce - Breaking News, New Brunswick, Canada
In hindsight, it's astonishing anyone ever entertained the notion that Copenhagen would represent a watershed in humankind's noble effort to save itself from itself.

It was what it was fated to be: A whole lot of heat and hot air signifying nothing we didn't already know about ourselves.

Thanks for Climategate
It is imperative that we all understand the folly of the manmade global warming theory and all the misconceptions that have been generated as a result. I urge you all to study this issue carefully. Please contact all of your congressmen (and women) in an effort to stop all efforts towards accepting cap and trade or similar policies.

Failure to stop these policies will lead to disastrous consequences with an unprecedented increase in taxes and eventually a sharp decline in our standard of living. There is no doubt this is probably the most important issue we have faced in our country and we must stand together against the manmade global warming hoax and the efforts of certain elitists to gain power and control over us all.

Parade of fools - San Jose Mercury News
I read with amusement last week the column written by Rep. Mike Honda (D-San Jose), who waxed poetic about the climate conference held in Copenhagen and suggested that we take a leadership role in this scam.

In the wake of revelations that the science behind the global warming theory was faked, one would think that he would have written a more humble essay. Instead, he suggested that we take a leadership role in what is really a giant hoax.
...
No, Mr. Honda, let's not insist that the United States take the lead in this parade of fools.

The Copenhagen Crash and Global Cooling: Cincinnati Weather Examiner - Rich Apuzzo
If you're wondering why the national political news focus has been on health care and not on the aftermath of the historic conference in Copenhagen, Denmark which ended less than a week ago...it's because nothing productive happened there. Even worse, more lies have been exposed from the IPCC report, more agendas uncovered about leaders at the United Nations and the "accord" that was supposedly reached at the 11th hour in Denmark is already falling apart. In addition, the planet continues to cool and we'll likely see that cooling accelerate in the coming years. I touch on these topics and more in a podcast interview you can listen to here.
