James Cameron sees Avatar as cautionary environmental tale - Green House - USATODAY.com
"We are devastating habitat and biodiversity at a terrible rate," Cameron says in a different interview with The Sun. "We are causing a global climate change that's going to be absolutely devastating to the coral reefs."

He says his ranch in Santa Barbara, Ca., generates so much solar power that "we sell it back to the grid." He adds: "We are soon going to put in wind power as well."

He's rich enough that he can afford to be green.

Happy New Year, Tom.

cbullit,

you are probably right about Mr. Cameron's wealth but are his array of solar panels paid for out of his own pocket or did he take advantage of very generous subsidies and rebates when he installed them and does he get a mandated high price for any electricity he sends back into the grid?
