Lapland hols fiasco 'caused by the cold' | News Of The World
Transun said it was the fault of CLIMATE CHANGE, plus stroppy hotel staff and moaning holidaymakers.

Boss Paul Kostich told one disappointed family in a statement: "Perhaps as a result of climate change, Lapland experienced an extended period of exceptional cold.

"These abnormal temperatures resulted in burst water pipes... the hotel management regrets the inconvenience and disturbance."

The coldest being the frigid December of 1995 which produced a tie to the UK's all-time coldest reading of -27C or -17 degrees Fahrenheit which was recorded at Altnaharra in Surtherland, Scotland and a -20C low in Glasgow was recorded, which is the coldest on record for the site.

This came over the e-mail transom this morning from Al Gore's Repower America. Not sure how I got on the Repower America mailing list, but the distortions and lies are always interesting.
