LETTER: Global warming looking like 'a gigantic hoax'
Gore said polar bears are disappearing. Five minutes on the internet taught me that their numbers have been increasing for 40 years.
Mark Hohmeister: Don't tell mainstream media about
The problem is, the media are hiding the real news that all the data pointing to climate change were made up by atheist scientists or elves at the North Pole. Whatever, two months ago, not one in 100 people had even heard of the University of East Anglia. Today, every anonymous poster is an expert on how climate data were collected and massaged there, in much the same way that we all become experts on the luge during the Winter Olympics.

And never mind that the Democrat has had news stories, opinion columns, letters to the editor and editorial cartoons on the so-called climate hoax, or that we provide space in our forums and story comments for discussion of this — it has been one giant cover-up.
Fraudulent data on man-made warming | Napa Valley Register
[Allen R. Lord / Napa] Dear editor, President Obama’s environmental henchmen (or “persons of hench” for the politically correct among you) are still abjectly clinging to the discredited pseudo-religion of enviro-Marxism.

The academic and scientific fraud perpetrated by the University of East Anglia is being ignored and the data upon which their conclusions relied has sadly been eaten by their dog. Pity. Notwithstanding, the Obama administration maintains that the underlying assertion that man-made global warming exists is not in any way deterred by the fact that its primary advocates have victimized the entire  world with the largest scientific fraud ever perpetrated against humanity.
[But of course: George Bush made climate fraudsters "lose" their data?] - Nova Scotia News
THE Bush/Cheney undead are still stalking the land, and on the global warming issue they’ve sunk their fangs into fresh blood.

Continuing from the Bush government’s suppression of the work of its own climate scientists, propaganda and befuddlement go from strength to strength.

Driven by U.S. right-wing politics and polluting-industry money, they’ve unnerved scientists with their tactics to the point that some of them have apparently suppressed data — or thought of doing so — rather than feed it into this engine of political disinformation, in the now famous University of East Anglia emails episode.
Climate change: Probe global warming hoax | Letters Unlimited - cleveland.com
Maybe all the people who swallowed hook, line and sinker the false theory of global warming are afraid to admit they were duped. Maybe they would rather throw the entire U.S. economy and American way of life under the bus instead of admitting they were wrong. Most likely there is much money to be made under a cap-and-trade program, and these folks stand to make a ton of cash at our expense.

What climategate really tells us - NYPOST.com
One of the several scandalous revelations of the Climategate e-mails is that this claim of consensus is a lie. Never mind the skeptics: It turns out many of the scientists in the CRU inner circle had doubts and disagreements about their data, methodology and conclusions, and often bickered with one another about defects in their project.
Tracking down the 'Climategate' hackers - CNN.com
With the help of Scotland Yard, local police say they are investigating. Security experts say the leak could involve a naive insider, a malicious insider or a break-in from the outside. Climate change skeptics say no matter how the emails were hacked the researchers had something to hide. Senator John Barrasso says he's heading to Copenhagen to find out.
The silliness of Climategate -- latimes.com
So what are we to believe: that huge numbers of British and American scientists have entered into a conspiracy to dupe the world on climate change? Why? What would they stand to gain?
...
Long ago, Cicero suggested that a mysterious public act could be best assessed by asking: Who benefits? Is it really any accident that Palin and most of the GOP lawmakers trying to discredit the science on global warming come from states enriched by petroleum production and industries with sizable carbon footprints? (The delegate from Saudi Arabia has taken a similar position at Copenhagen.)
