The Winter Games at Copenhagen by Dennis T. Avery, AmericanDaily.com | Climate Realists
Years ago, Jim Goodrich, then California State Climatologist, randomly selected three groups of Golden State temperature stations—one-third each from cities, suburbs, and rural areas. He found a strong warming trend in the cities, moderate warming in the suburban stations - and no warming at all in the countryside. The IPCC has assured us they’ve “adjusted” the temperature records for the urban heat island effect - but have never revealed the size of the adjustments. Now that lack of transparency takes on a sinister tone.
The Gold Standard in Peer Reviewed Science? | Politics & Economics
According to NOAA Administrator Jane Lubchenco, the IPCC is "the gold standard for authoritative scientific information on climate change because of the rigorous way in which they are prepared, reviewed, and approved." Unfortunately for some, the "gold standard" is at the heart of Climategate.

One salient clue to the IPCC's central involvement is the scientists who wrote the troubling emails. They are not of the basement-and-garage variety: they stand on the summit of climate research. Moreover, they are the key contributors to, and lead authors of, the IPCC's major science assessment reports-making them, for better or worse, the architects of the climate change "consensus."
Public Cooling On Global Warming - Forbes.com
Fewer and fewer people believe climate change is real.

In addition to divisions at Copenhagen between rich and poor countries, climate activists had to contend with some depressing poll results. Four new polls showed declining support for the belief that global warming is real.
Copenhagen climate [swindle] conference: Who is going to save the planet now? - Telegraph
After the Copenhagen climate conference failed to stop global warming, the next big question for climate change is who is going to save the planet now?

Climate madness from Ross Garnaut | Australian Climate Madness
So we have to cut 25% by 2020, but at the same time wait until we see what the world is doing? And even if you can look past that inconsistency, you have to ask, what difference does it make to global emissions if Australia cuts by 5%, or 25% or 100%? Answer: nothing. Anything we do is just a gesture, and a pointless one at that.

And if you can look past that, then you have to ask why they think 450 ppm will guarantee only a 2˚C rise in temperature. The sun didn't take part at Copenhagen, neither did the oceans, nor the clouds, nor volcanoes, nor cosmic rays, nor the solar system, so I wonder what they all think of this tiny, annoying surface irritant on the planet (i.e. humans) deciding what its climate will be in 2050?
PM - Abbott claims PM is hiding over Copenhagen Accord 21/12/2009
TONY ABBOTT: Having come back from Copenhagen, instead of explaning the outcome to the Australian people, he is in hiding in Kirribilli House. Now I say to Mr Rudd do the right thing by the Australian people, come out of hiding, don't closet yourself in Kirribilli House, don't send out Penny Wong and Kate Lundy and all these other millions to explain the disappointing outcome of Copenhagen - do it yourself.

COP15: Ed Milliband, Gordon Brown And Some Other “Jokers” « The Unbearable Nakedness of CLIMATE CHANGE
You know something very odd has happened in Copenhagen between Friday and Saturday when Luboš Motl and Plane Stupid’s Joss Garman write more or less the same thing about it. In the meanwhile, RC is silent, Stoat is silent, tamino is silent, Desmogblog has a pathetic “let’s be cheerful” attempt at blaming “politicians”, and Monbiot is entering paranoia territory.

Finally, a consensus has been reached!
Weather and Climate Through the Eyes of Mark Vogan: 95% Confidence MOST of Scotland and Britain will see a White Christmas, Arctic blast for New Year?
Some models are forecasting the hemisphere-wide winter cold and snow to grip tighter into New Year as major Arctic blasts may bring in a severe winter outbreak as we enter 2010 and continue into the first couple of weeks of January....
More snows likely for many areas of Europe and UK, setting the stage for bitter cold to shiver us towards the worst period of winter in 20+ years, could this be the worst widespread severe cold outbreak across the Northern Hemisphere since the 1970s?....
