The native species took it on the chin as well. They have closed the local fishing seasons because of the cold die off.

Bailout for a bunch of fools introducing invasive species into our ecosystem?
How about hell no.

Mother Nature passed judgement on that enterprize. I'm good with her conclusion. With any luck maybe the 13 days of cold killed off the pythons these irresponsible reprobates let loose to plague the country.

Now shut up about fed handouts. Count yourselves lucky you aren't thrown in jail for importing dangerous organisms.
