As chattering climate partisans focus on new examples of scientists shooting themselves in the foot, the climate itself is going about its business, consistent with what would be expected in a warming world.

Heavy snowfall and freezing weather conditions have paralyzed life and traffic in most parts of Turkey.

Many provinces in east Turkey, which were affected by freezing weather, saw temperatures dip well below zero. Eastern province of Erzurum experienced its coldest night with minus 32 degrees Celsius.
