We sceptics have started to wipe the floor with our opponents in a way that just wasn’t possible twelve months ago. The “smoking gun” evidence kindly provided by the Climategate leakster has been a huge help of course. As too has Mother Nature (I call her Clima-tor). Similar remarks are forming like icicles over the global warming denialsphere from people who don't understand the difference between weather and climate, or those who believe that reality largely involves whatever they think it does.

Florida, of course, thrives on warmth above all else. The Sunshine State has successfully sold a sweaterless life to retirees. For fish farmers, the subtropical temperatures and high water table made this the best place in America for the outdoor cultivation of tropical fish.
