Global warming's Dodgy Dossier
Well, thousands of people won't be killed as a result of this mistake. It may take hundreds of careers down in flames, and tarnish the reputation of the scientific method itself. But any sane politician will run, not walk, away from this mess as quickly as possible. I hope President Obama is one of them.
Weather and Climate Through the Eyes of Mark Vogan: SCOTLAND'S FEBRUARY FORECAST
It's very possible another tough 2-3 week period of winter is in store for February and if this materialized would mean one of the most severe winters in at least 100 years. Perhaps climbing within the top-5 worst of the last century. That being said, this winter despite a possible further blast of snow and cold, remains a far cry to 1947 and 1963 as well as those winters back in the 17 and 1800s. What I do believe though, is this winter as well as last winter are both back to back alarm bells and what may well be a sign of things to come. Winters of the next 30 winters may return to those of the 1800s and this may end up being a mild winter compared "near" future winters perhaps only 4 or 5 years ahead.
Another IPCC claim busted
The situation for the IPCC is getting worse everyday, after having to admit they got it wrong about the Himalayan glacier melting they are now facing another scandal. It's now come out that the IPCC based its claim that Global Warming was causing more natural disasters was based on an "unpublished report that had not been subjected to routine scientific scrutiny - and ignored warnings from scientific advisers."...

The IPCC has know this since 2008. This is huge since it was the primary reason that the African nations were demanding $100 billion dollars from the U.S. during the Copenhagen summit.
Green is the color of the carpetbag | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
Green was meant to be the sign of a modern new morality. Now it’s a sign that someone’s on the make:

THE consumer watchdog has reported an alarming rise in complaints about misleading ‘’green’’ advertising, particularly by energy retailers…
Graeme Samuel, chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, told The Age that a sharp rise in complaints about green ads - from almost none two years ago to about 500 since early 2008 - was ‘’very unusual’’. He said such complaints were becoming as common as those about telecommunication companies…
Free Trade Helps Polar Bears, Too - Fred Schwarz - Planet Gore on National Review Online
Traffic International, a conservationist group that monitors cross-border trade in threatened species, has decided the polar-bear population is not threatened enough to warrant a trade ban. And as radio host Lars Larson points out today over on the Corner, trophy hunting of polar bears is actually better for maintaining the population than the alternative (hunting by indigenous people) would be.
The Reference Frame: China goes agnostic on AGW
At the same moment, 133 Indian couples haven't yet understood that the Himalayan glaciers won't melt at least for many centuries. So following the Moonist template, they married en masse "to save the Himalayas"...
