Intense cold damages betel crop in Madhya Pradesh
Belowa (Madhya Pradesh), Jan 24 (ANI): The intense cold weather in Belowa region here has led to severe damage in the betel crop, popularly known as ‘paan’.

The farmers are bemoaning heavy losses as almost all their betel produce has been hit badly by the frost and cold, leading to black spots on the leaves.

Around 700-800 families engaged in betel cultivation will be left to starve if they don’t get any assistance from the government.
IPCC "wrongly linked global warming to natural disasters" | Australian Climate Madness
Typical. Just like buses, you wait ages for an IPCC scandal, and then two come along at once. In fact, I will wager that there is a whole fleet about to exit the bus station, as thousands of independent scientists and bloggers tear AR4 apart.
EU Referendum: Wasn't me guv!
There are clearly vested interests ... you can't say it's careless science ... it's one mistake, says Pachauri. And watch little Syed Hasnain: "It wasn't me guv!"
Investigate Pachauri now | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
When wild and baseless scares are pushed by a man who makes serious money from them, it’s time to call in the auditors. Pachauri may be innocent of any wrong doing, but only a fool would be blind to the danger of corruption when so many millions are being thrown at pushers of the warming faith.

Question: could the Nobel Prize be withdrawn from the IPCC if more such revelations come to light?
LOCAL VIEW: A climate change for climate change?
"I'd just as soon see (climate change legislation) set aside until we work through the economy," Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., told Politico. "What we don't want to do is have anything get in the way of working to resolve the problems with the economy."
