Near record cold water temperatures in the Bay area | Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota | WTSP.com 10 Connects

The National Weather Service just released data showing the most recent water temperature readings from Clearwater Beach.

On January 11, 2010 the gauge measured 48.2F, the second coolest temperature reading since the gauge was installed fifteen years ago in 1995. The coldest temperature of 48.0F occurred on January 4, 2001. The average Clearwater Beach water temperature for January is in the low 60's.
