Revkin is wobbling
Andrew Revkin in the chief Warmist for the NYT. He is trying to cope with the "discovery" (to Warmists) that atmospheric water vapour is a big influence on the earth's temperature.
...
Amusing bits: He admits that the science is not "settled"; He admits that people have reason to take the IPCC with a grain of salt; He says that decade-long observations are too short to be used, even though the warming period of the late 20th century that started the whole scare was only about two decades; He then offers an alternative authority to the IPCC as confirming the "threat" of global warming -- an "authority" that was published in 1991! He had to go back to 1991 to prop up his faith!; and that he relies on "authorities" -- rather than any facts -- to prop up his faith is the most pathetic thing of all
The Heretics: Lord Christopher Monckton | FrontPage Magazine
Monckton re-entered the climate-change fray in 2006, writing two pieces in the Sunday Telegraph criticizing global warming alarmism. The articles caused an immediate stir.

“There were 127,000 hits at the Sunday Telegraph website within the first two hours of my article hitting the site,” Monckton recalled. “There was so much traffic that they actually crashed the site. It was the first time that had happened. I believe it’s still the only time that happened.”

In a world hungry for understandable, reasoned explanations of climate science, Monckton’s greatest gift is his skill as a communicator. Though he is not a climatologist, he is well versed in both the basics and the nuances of the issues surrounding climate change. Typical of his style is this video of Monckton politely explaining the realities of global warming theory to a member of Greenpeace during the Copenhagen climate conference in December.
Pajamas Media » Climategate: NOAA and NASA Complicit in Data Manipulation
Joseph D'Aleo and Anthony Watts release a 110-page report on the terrible state of surface temperature data — and on how NOAA and NASA are as guilty as CRU.
Pachauri lied about Himalayan warning | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
As I wrote last week, more telling than even the IPCC’s bizarre Himalayan error has been Pachauri’s instinctive reaction to deny and abuse those pointing out such mistakes. That, and his blatant conflicts of interest, as he makes money from the warming scare he whips up, demand his sacking.
American Thinker: From Camelot to Scamalot
SCAM #8 -- [Obama] talks of "energy independence" but proposes multilayered policies of Less Energy at Higher Prices (LEAHP) -- all of which are devoted to a ruinously low "carbon footprint" belief system which is itself a pseudo-religious scam, correctly being called by many the Branch Carbonian Cult.

SCAM #9 -- He embraces as "scientific consensus" the junk science of anthropogenic global warming (AGW) and shamelessly rejects virtually all scientific evidence (re: solar cycles, cosmic winds, ocean currents, volcanic activity, etc.) to the contrary, just as the pseudo-scientific Branch Carbonians do.

SCAM #10 -- He promises "jobs, jobs, jobs" while he relentlessly proposes -- in an apparent state of cognitive dissonance -- both the proactive outforcing of jobs and capital investment and the determined downforcing of most major domestic energy supplies.
