U.S. Media Silent as Climate Scandals Continue (Wizbang)

Bad science done using bad data to start with is a recipe for disaster. Or, perhaps more to the point, is a recipe for being able to manipulate public opinion. The scientific method is a way of discovering observable truths about the world around us. To use it as a propaganda machine is shameful and the mainstream media's silence on the story is doubly so.

THE global warming crisis is now being rebranded as a climate change crisis because it seems that instead of getting warmer, we may actually be getting colder.

An article in The Wall Street Journal last October suggested that carbon permits could become the largest commodity market in the world, growing to as much as $3 trillion by 2030. Bernie Madoff got away with his Ponzi scheme for so long because people were afraid to question what he was doing. Surely we should be questioning the so-called global warming scam.

I know a scam when I see one and the man made global warming theory is a scam. Honest debate of science should always be encouraged but man made global warming theorists become enraged with any dissenting discussion of their theory. If they can't debate the science of global warming it is no longer science. It has become their religion.

BEIJING — As a Sunday target date approaches for countries to submit to the United Nations their plans for fighting climate change, China is banding together with other major developing nations to stress that only the wealthier countries need to make internationally binding commitments.

So while China, the world’s largest emitter of greenhouse gases, might put down in writing its targets for slowing the growth of emissions, it will make clear that those efforts are voluntary steps it plans to take domestically that should not imply a binding international commitment.
