UAE: Most [allegedly] say they can help solve climate ills - The National Newspaper
Only 36 per cent of respondents would consider buying a hybrid or otherwise fuel-efficient car, with 47 per cent saying they would not dream of doing so if it cost them any more than a normal vehicle.
ALA 2010 Midwinter Meeting: Gore— [same speech, different day]
Discussing his latest book, Our Choice: A Plan To Solve the Climate Crisis (Rodale, 2009)—out in two versions, one for adults and one for teens—he noted the need for people to connect with the calamity future generations will face in order to engage in an appropriate response now. "We have enough solutions to solve the climate crisis," he said, "with the exception of the will to act."

The scale of that response, however, is well beyond the personal level. "It is important to change the lightbulbs, but far more important to change the laws," Gore said. "Political will is a renewable resource."
Gore and Robertson on the Couch - Chris Horner - Planet Gore on National Review Online
In the wake of Pat Robertson's nutty comments on Haiti, Greg helpfully posted the reverend's video appearance with Al Sharpton in support of Al Gore's We Can Solve It website and the broader global-warming agenda. Team Gore appears to be shying from the association — see their blank page here — a result brought about by nothing Sharpton did or said; talk about strange standards and a sign you've overstepped the bounds. You'd think the guy that invented the Internet would know that taking down a link doesn't make things go away.

Let the scientists report further on the intricacies of the graphs, maps, and calculations of "global warming fraud," and then turn it all over to a prosecutor and make these "scientists" pay for this outrageous hoax that has continued for decades and is still having huge financial impacts on policy, commerce and the economy. "Global warming" is a crime.

"You really can't mess up with the nature and think you can get away with it. The nature is very powerful and can wipe off the human race if it wants to. Be it global warming, droughts or floods, this is the nature hitting back at us for messing with it," Giri, who is currently camping with his members at about 15-kms outside the Haridwar town, said.
