American news media freeze-out of "Climategate" is finally thawing (Wizbang)
And there you have it. Climate change = social justice. Progressives will never give up their quest for the chimera of "social justice" no matter how flawed their plans for achieving it may be, for within the quest for social justice lies the ultimate goal of progressivism -- the secular perfection of humanity. Likewise, progressives won't give up on the current best hope for achieving social justice until something demonstrably better comes along. In other words, "climate change" is here to stay, until the next revolution -- whatever that may be.

We should probably expect to see very little progressive establishment criticism directed toward the climate change movement. The "keep doing what you're doing, only don't make so many mistakes the next time" tone of the AP and Washington Post stories probably serves as a good example of the type of climate change criticism that our mainstream press will produce. Therefore it is up to the rest of us to keep the pressure on and do the job that the skeptics in the scientific and public policy arenas were supposed to be doing in the first place, before they were buried under an avalanche of political correctness.
American Thinker Blog: The Oppressive Climate in Cambridge
Oblivious to the record snowfalls and cold weather that has slammed the east coast and totally unaware of the climate-gate scandal which has rocked the climate change industry, the Cambridge Climate Congress is forging ahead with plans to tackle a perceived climate emergency.
American Thinker Blog: New climate education website missing some key data
If certain individuals are found to have knowingly covered up provable data contrary to their "accepted" scientific conclusions, their tenure should be withdrawn and career ended. In certain instances such as Climategate, the primary conspirators should be brought up on fraud charges since their "science" (bought with taxpayer money) sought to cripple the world economy with a special focus placed squarely on the American free enterprise system.

The rogues' gallery of government that is the Obama Administration continues to grow day by day.
Global warming skeptics should chill out their winter whining | Flat Hat News
While any claim that has the potential to disrupt people’s lives and cost taxpayers billions of dollars — as climate change does — should be viewed with healthy skepticism, the evidence of climate change is unequivocal. The past decade was the warmest on record, and scientists can point to a clear warming trend over the past one hundred years. Most of the world’s glaciers are melting, its seas are warming and ice caps are disappearing. The problem is real, regardless of what right-wing blowhards suggest. What will we do about it?

That may take some time to answer, but for now I’ll be heading back to northern Virginia to help my parents shovel the house out from its ice cave.
