Here's the significance: From now on, the global warming agenda's scientific arguments, not just economic and political arguments, are being openly challenged, even by nations. In the U.S., several legal challenges are pending to the federal government's proposed emission caps, and likewise to California's Global Warming Solutions Act. Legal attacks to the sufficiency of the underlying science should get a major boost from mounting revelations of slipshod research, and challenges raised by nations like India and the Netherlands.

AccuWeather said another storm will arrive in the Northeast during the night of Feb. 9 into the morning of Feb. 10. Possible blizzard conditions are forecast for northeastern Pennsylvania to New England and as much as 12 inches of snow may fall. Baltimore and Washington may see as much as six inches of new snow, Ulrich said.

Karen Le Blanc, a spokeswoman for the city of Washington said the municipality was “probably over” its $6.2 million budget at this point.

Without support from NASA administrators (climate change doctrine is not part of NASA’s core mission), but with the Bush administration distracted by global terrorism, Hansen and his lawyers successfully hard-balled an entitlement for continued federal funding and use of the NASA brand name. Not surprisingly, this situation has not been challenged by the Obama administration, which still claims “climate science” provides incontrovertible proof of future catastrophic climate change because they aren’t yet extracting enough money through taxation and cap-n-trade schemes and because “global governance” is not yet fully implemented.
