There is no logical explanation why our electricity should cost 50 percent to 70 percent more than the national average. Regional assets like abundant hydropower and natural gas are denied us by our legislators and governor. The cost of electricity should be significantly less, not increasing.

People forget the government created Dept of Energy 40 years ago to find a cure for our oil dependence- spending billions to date. 40 years of failure should allow us sufficient confidence to reject the concept of government energy solutions. 40 years is even a longer period then even the AGWers say is required to reject their theory.
