Prince Charles hits out at climate change sceptics as top scientist calls for critics to provide evidence for their views | Mail Online
He said: 'I have watched with growing dismay and alarm the glee with which the sceptics have leapt upon the recent news stories that question the science that climate change is man-made and suggesting it is nothing more than a myth.

'Well, if it is but a myth, and the global scientific community is involved in some sort of conspiracy, why is it then that around the globe sea levels are more than six inches higher than they were 100 years ago?
Die Klimazwiebel: The bandwagon
[Reiner Grundmann] There is more to come, not only from the Guardian. The bandwagon has started to roll.

Don’t get me wrong: I am not rubbing my hands. In order to prevent further damage, the IPCC will have to make a set of urgent and fundamental changes. The sooner this is done, the better. Public trust in climate science and -policy is eroding fast. Alas, some people still think that they can stop the rot by retreating into the trenches.
Former IPCC Leader Says Climategate Scientists “Manipulated data.” | CLIMATEGATE
Sprigg bemoans the fact that the IPCC has scorned any further reviews, and is unimpressed with the computer forecasts of climatologists calling their scenarios “tentative models.”
Trees by the bay bulking up - baltimoresun.com
Forests by the Chesapeake Bay are growing two to four times faster than expected these days, researchers have found - a signal that rising carbon dioxide in our atmosphere might be triggering noticeable changes in ecosystems in the Mid-Atlantic.
Global warming and a pattern of deceit
If we ever get rid of these panic-stricken doommongers and their enablers in the enviro-media, it won't be hard to get back to normal. Just a return to the IPCC's earlier works, written before there was a political mandate to satisfy and a media monster to convince.

But this gang of idiots has got to go first.
Energy chief defends Yucca Mountain determination - Breaking News - ReviewJournal.com
WASHINGTON - Energy Secretary Steven Chu today defended the decision to terminate the Yucca Mountain program, telling senators at a budget hearing the Nevada repository plan is being set aside in a search for "better solutions."
Scientists, you are fallible. Get off the pedestal and join the common herd | Simon Jenkins | Comment is free | The Guardian
No professional body is checking all this. Assertions are treated as scientific fact even when they come from such lobbyists as the World Wildlife Fund (on whose politics see Raymond Bonner's At the Hand of Man). If their conclusions are wrong, they are demanding money with false menaces. If they are right, their abuse of evidence and political naivety jeopardises life on earth. The chief government scientist, John Beddington, might have opined last week that "there is fundamental uncertainty about climate change predictions". What is he going to do about it?
Climate Resistance » Don’t Blame Collapse of Credibility on the IPCC’s Wobbly Chair
Climate alarmism is a hydra. Cut off its head, and another will rear itself into view. And it will be just as ugly.
As sea level rises so does the level of climate change denial
Combing thousands of stolen e-mails, deniers extract single words out of context, placed on hundreds of phony websites titled by fancy names as "The Climate Science Coalition". It does not sound as if writers in these blogs are familiar with the basic laws of physics, a weakness for which they over-compensate using toxic ad-homonym against environmentalists.
