Shut Up, For the Children | Climate Skeptic
...Hmm, I will pass. But it is nice to know that folks like Al Gore, Michael Mann, and Steve Jones have passed down their fear and loathing of debate to the next generation. I won’t share my response, but I asked him if he would prefer that my generation, instead of handing his generation a degree or so of warming, instead handed his generation an extra billion or so people in poverty.

The great scam is unravelling very, very fast. There now needs to be an accounting of the scientists who irresponsibly fed the panic.

As for Kevin Rudd, who has tied so recklessly to stake our future on this fraud, simply for craven political advantage ... well, I dare not say how strongly I feel he is not fit for his office.
Global warming: Some scandals do affect the science
On another note, I personally find it astonishing that more American media outlets are not covering recent events in the world of climate science. We have scandal, misuse of government funds, leaked information, even soft core porn written by the head of the IPCC. The BBC, the Guardian, Der Spiegel, the London Times, the Times of India are all featuring these stories and running continuing coverage. What exactly is the American media currently covering that is more interesting? It is receiving some coverage from Fox news and the Wall Street Journal, but where is the NY Times on this?
Not waving but drowning: Melanie Phillips
Sir David King FRS is a former professor of physical chemistry and one of this country's most distinguished scientists. Yet he has shown himself here to be sloppy with facts and prone to wild conspiracy theorising. Is it any wonder therefore that he is a climate change zealot? This frighteningly closed-minded individual was a key force in shaping Britain’s science policy from 2000 to 2007.
...
With even the Guardian now trying to distance itself from the climate change madness it has done so much to create, the Tories now risk being the last people stranded on the melting floe of ideology as it calves into the sea of denial.
